Pilot Offices that haven’t gone LIVE
There are 37 offices which were earmarked as pilot offices but only 31 or so have gone live: does anyone know what has happened in those offices? What were the reasons for not going live?

Don’t know about actual reasons, but didn’t an office in the North East refuse to take part? Wish we’d all do this, be great to stop this nonsense in its tracks.

Being able to just group together and refuse would be great!!
I think they’re being secretive so that we don’t all get ideas.

I think I saw that message from the NE branch.

Re: Pilot Offices that haven’t gone LIVE
The word being transmitted through the LMs last week was that the CWU as a whole had withdrawn support until the serious issues with the ODM pilots were corrected and the company had suspended further rollout in tacit admission things weren't working.
The machine stops.

Re: Pilot Offices that haven’t gone LIVE
A few of those units paused to go live due to unresolved resourcing concerns. Each office had to complete a detailed 12 week rollout plan which involved things like updating the frames, introducing new duties and trial rotas as part of the planning process and if they couldn't be agreed by RM and the CWU beforehand then they were immediately pulled.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

So they haven’t got enough staff for a model that reduces overall staff numbers? Alarm bells are ringing.

When I read it, it sounded like they were saying they wouldn’t support USO reform, but it didn’t sound to me like that meant they weren’t doing the pilots.Sean06 wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025, 09:27Thats what i am saying it just was,nt ne branch which was portrayed on here.

CWU put out a joint statement with Royal Mail last week that overrides that issue in north east.Barnacle wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025, 10:08When I read it, it sounded like they were saying they wouldn’t support USO reform, but it didn’t sound to me like that meant they weren’t doing the pilots.Sean06 wrote: ↑02 Jul 2025, 09:27Thats what i am saying it just was,nt ne branch which was portrayed on here.

Every single OPG duty in your office should go in the pot no question. If that doesn't happen then there is some seriously shady employment practices happening, and your management 'team' should be fully investigated. This will result in disciplinary action.
If someone holds a so called 'ringfenced' duty then they ain't fit for the job.
