Does anyone remember what year we stopped working good friday? In our office we used to get time and a half or a day in lieu,or double time and a half it was mandatory as well you had to work it

For Deliveries it was early 1990s.

Never, in Scotland.

The following Saturday used to be one of the best days of the year because nothing came up from down South. Done for 10AM... excuse me, I have something in my eye.

I remember working Good Friday in 2001 and quite possibly 2002 on delivery

Wasn't mandatory in our D.O. do any 2 DOs operate in the same way :hmmmm

2001 was the last Good Friday I did delivery, 2002 onwards no deliveries.
