Heard that the vr terms are going to be aimed at 50 + year olds , if true think that's a great shout,I'd fall into that category, and snap there hands off if this was true , im knackered everyday , let the youth take the strain .

Seniority rules the roost, this could mean the vast majority will be over 50 but that won’t be the first consideration.

I’ve heard it’s aimed at under 50s as Royal Mail know the oldies will leave by choice eventually

I've heard it is aimed at people who are exactly 50 to limit the number of applicants.

Im sure the VRs in 2012 I think it was - when park and loop came in - were specifically for the over 50s so its not always just seniority

It was around 2008 at our DO. Same time we got the so called 'colleague shares' or whatever that sham was lol. The VR guys got to cash them in as well as the 24 months VR payment.
