Re: More vr's
We've been told 12 less in our office, there's 2 vacancies that they aren't filling, someone's left so we're already down to 9, they said rest would be natural reduction, maybe 1 or 2 voluntaries.

No and it's certainly not what the CWU has agreed. Exactly what is going to happen to the supernumeraries is a mystery but looking at what happens to workers in the mail centres it ain't going to be goodcomeracing wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 12:30With all this talk of there being 3 people delivering 4 duties, there will be vrs in every office .

Has the supernumerary situation still not been sorted out? Surely they should be offered positions at local DOs?tramssirhc wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 17:08No and it's certainly not what the CWU has agreed. None locally, a few have retired or quit.
For any supernumaries in DOs after all this, they'll be made to move to a new DO

Re: More vr's
Odd somebody working in an MC knows that but posties working in a DO don't? Given the reduction in staff numbers there might well not be an vacancies in any DO's.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑19 Feb 2025, 19:32None locally, a few have retired or quit.
