MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, one more day of madness
Back to my question:
Last Monday, I RTW after being off several weeks, following post surgery recovery.
My line manager still has not completed my RTW (despite saying on my first day back, we'll complete your RTW in about 5 minutes). As a result of this (ie, manager not following company procedures), can this occurrence of being absence become "void" due to line manager not following the company procedure?
Only asking, because in a previous job - if I did not follow the company procedure, if and when my employees RTW after being absence (ie complete their RTW, on the day they RTW), then HR would simply "void" the occasion if a stage was triggered - as if the employee challenged this, and got the union involved, the absence stage would get void/thrown out, Simply because the manager has not followed the correct procedure for managing an employees absence.
Anyone been in a similar situation?
Thanks
