Royal Mail fines
Just curious about the fines for not meeting the USO. If RM has a contract with a company for the PDAs that we use to optimise our routes and the PDA is quite often very wrong and takes you the wrong way, logs itself out, just stops routing etc and RM could prove that this is behind some of the late deliveries, then shouldn't that company be fined for not meeting their agreement with RM? I would like to think that RM have it in provider contracts that equipment be fit for purpose and maintained properly?????

Re: Royal Mail fines
Even if they did I doubt they'd be able to argue that the PDA routes are what's causing the uso failures. There's many more causes the main one being the deliberate letter service drive down in order to force uso change and devalue the company for a cheap sale. Kretinsky as a major shareholder already must have had involvement in this and now he's going to buy the company at a reduced valuation.

That won’t happen but they should definitely do something about them. Some of the routes they come up with are outrageous, should be some way for the driver to have some sort of input into the direction of travel.

Re: Royal Mail fines
The company that supplied the PDAs doesn't provide the apps / software. That is down to Royal Mail which is why it's so poor
