stage warnings and appeals ?

am i right according to the new agreement can posties appeal against a stage 1 and if they can what is the process , and was it also part of that agreement that a stage should be decided on your first day back to work after sickness . thanks for any info .

Yes, most are successful when they appeal it - ask your rep for the full document showing all the info.

There was definitely a letter to branches about this a few weeks ago. If I find a copy when I’m finished I’ll post it.

I can't see that being the case, the criteria is quite clear for the amount/length of absence that triggers the stage, if it's something like an accident at work that would be something that you should appeal though.

The OP doesn’t actually state his whole stage story - so he might deserve it for all I know - but there was a missive about this saying that people should appeal because most are successful when they do.

I can’t find where I read that so the area rep would be the best person to contact and ask.

I've never heard of anyone being successful, injury at work or not.
