When on annual leave do you still get option of overtime or day in lieu as its a Bank Holiday

In our office it’s only another day off now.

We used have choice of day off or overtime. They stopped it years ago

But thats not the point if you want paid for the day you are entitled to it.
If it’s your rest day. If you have a weeks annual leave on a Bank Holiday week you will just use less hours of your annual leave. For example I have the week of New Year booked as A/L and it’s cost me 4 days A/l not 5.

Your not entitled to anything for a bank holiday when on annual leave .

usually paid if u request it or a day owed usually have the choice still
