3 years for me ,If I can grind it out until then , as we all know the jobs gone ,kretinsky will asset strip, and terms and conditions will be worsening rapidly , would love feedback on anyone who has left at 55 at took there lump sum and monthly pension NR60 , that's my plan and keep the NR65 and draw that at age 60 , hear of so many people fed up and calling it a day drawing there pension and getting a part time job elsewhere and virtually everyone says its the best thing they've done ,life to short as they say .

More vacancies south - less further north - fully staffed or over staffed?

It definitely wasn't easy and I made plenty of sacrifices along the way.

Royal Mail would retain a lot of experienced staff if they allowed full-timers who are getting close to retirement age to go part-time and only work a few days a week. Unfortunately, the company are desperate to get rid of them and tell them if they go part-time they either have to sign the new contract that new staff are on or still have to work at least 5 days a week.

Nobody forced you into being a rep? Some of us like our foreign hols and new cars so plod on a bit longer without listening to a single person's woes. I can never understand reps complaining about the role if they don't like it just step down.

The reason Robert retired at 55 and is able to not draw his final salary till 60, could be down to realising at a very early age, you have to put money away and invest in your future?
