Bank Holiday option 'B'

I was paid last week for Easter Monday which was my scheduled day off, option 'B', however on this weeks pay slip, this has been deducted, I have but a credit of OT1 rate for the same amount of time, of which there's a defecit of £42!

Is anyone able to shed some light on this?

Sounds like payroll have made a mistake of paying you instead of crediting you on annual leave then rectifying it?

Someone else may well know better but I think choosing between option A or B only applies when you attend work on a Bank Holiday.

If you didn’t attend work and your rest day falls on a Bank Holiday you normally just get a choice between getting the hours back in time in lieu or payment for the hours you would normally work that day in normal overtime.

It sounds as though they may have incorrectly paid you the higher rate and then realised their mistake so claimed it back this week and paid you the correct amount.

Yes, B is, iirc, cash only payment (No pension contribution) for working it.
