Safe place option on PDA's

With having scanned an item it comes up sometimes with a customer safe place option .
So why is there another safeplace option for the Postman as well ?
Shouldn't that be a Postman doorstepping option as if the Customer hasn't asked for a safeplace with RM we shouldn't be putting it in their open porch , greenhouse or shed.

Most customers have a safe place, often discussed with the postman, but haven't had the opportunity to put the safe option on the delivery information when buying.

I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the safe place location as ‘enclosed porch’, which doesn’t exist. Bottom line is, if in your opinion the safe place isn’t safe, endorse it and return it to the office.

100% right,if its not secure which it wont be if you can access it then so can some scallywag,then card it and take it back to office,dont take any chances .

I wouldn’t be taking photos of anything on your phone. It’s either designated safe or it isn’t.

Quite right, in 95% of situations these PVA's are just a waste of time and money.
