Yip been there done that I mentioned it on an earlier post.They were a pain in the ass we were given a month to do them but I did them as fast as I could.

We used to get paid per book, I forget how much,people would fill their cars or managers would let us use a van, they were doorstepped, some good money was made

How does this work will every DO eventually get phone books to deliver or do different areas of the country use different delivery co's to deliver them?

Not sure but I'm in central Scotland and we got them 3 weeks ago.

We got them when I was on the walk in mud 90s but it wasn't done on docket, it was per book delivered, I think 10 pence. We used RM high good and tried to get the high costs like Maryville wyndford. Good money could be made. Then they took it off RM and outsourced it to any tom, dick or harry who could do it cheaper ffs. But like they do today.

Those were the day's this came through as a d2d but there not as big as the old days.You can fit 2 in a double slot in your frame just then it's a pain even getting a letter in beside them.I ended up just counting out how much I needed and carried them in the bag.Id say they are about the same size as the old Thompson local.

Couple of walks here had phone books at the start of 2020. Took two weeks to clear because they weighed so much you could only carry five in the bag at a time.

The impression was that the awkward areas got dumped on us.
