6th Week A/L
Today we were told that anyone who was on strike last year weren't entitled to sign for their 6th weeks Annual Leave, anyone else been told this?

No, it depends if you have the leave available. If you used your quota last year and striked on all the strike days then you owe the business a few days back. They’re taking them back out of this years allocation.

Sounds like discrimination.
I don't believe actually striking can have anything to do with it, you'd pay for the 6th week this leave year?

Re: 6th Week A/L
Is it possible that by striking, the full cost of buying the 6th week hasn't been taken & the purchase may amount to,for example, 4.75 days thus meaning there isn't a 6th week available to book.

Re: 6th Week A/L
I lost some hours through striking so this year I don't have enough hours for a 6th week, sounds like you are the same.

Re: 6th Week A/L
That's what I thought too, so presumably anyone affected in this way could either have a part week off, maybe tag an extra day or two on to their other five weeks holidays to extend them, try and book a week with a bank holiday in it, or if they definitely wanted a full week off maybe ask for the shortfall to be unpaid.
