Hi Does anyone know how many weeks RM are paying staff to go on ill health retirement and is it likely to change?

few at ours offered just 12 weeks pay for ill health

Yes it’s likely to change its part of current changes to be made to save some of the allowances

At the minute 34 weeks plus depending on lenght of service up 12 weeks pilon ( pay in lieu of notice).but more than likely will change if a deal is ever agreed.

IHR is being watered down, whatever sick pay RM have paid out, will be deducted from Ur IHR payment.

May well be but not until there is an agreement in place which seems a long way off.

Yes 12 weeks extra which I think is taxable. The 34 weeks isn’t
