How many of you plan on leaving?

This has probably been asked before in here but here it is anyway.

I've been here for 5 years now and have slowly seen it get worse and worse, at our office no one seems to care anymore, it seems even the managers have given up, no punishment for anything that previously would've been a disciplinary.
who here plans on leaving Royal Mail in the future?
and if so, roughly when do you think you'll be going?
what sort of job will you be looking to get?

I have 35 years in and was going to go last September when I turned 55, thought do another year and then leave,, then they are on about CSP going so hopefully will get some sort of redundancy I hope pretty soon.

I was nearer to 61 than 60 when I left and found another job no problem, you are only "stuck with it" because you choose to be.

Me, been here for near five years. Feel like the first three years were decent, did more hours mind you but nowhere near this tired everyday after work and only working my normal hours. Constant battles from management, stating this work can be done in this time despite increasing the workload throughout year despite suppose to be decreasing with reduced hour. Absolute wastes of space managers letting people get away with murder because they come in early for f**k all and bitch and moan at them if they even dare ask them to cover even the tiny extra work. Same guys will stand on the picket line acting like they are so hard done by as well. Did I mention we are doing triple bloody lapsing now cuz tools are sorters so basically time PT are coming in, work is done and they are already leaving the office?Done with all the bull crap really.

It’s a career break. Can’t work whilst off. Due back 4/11/2023. Not interested in keeping a duty. Just been taken off my duty and now on a float that three of the duties in that are supposedly being absorbed in the next revision. (Very soon).

Enjoy your break. Agree, you probably won't want to come back. Mate of mine had a career break while he was starting up his own coaching business so not sure that you can't take another job while on a career break? Maybe it's different working for yourself. Possibly you can't take a job with a rival firm, which would kinda make sense. Anyway best of luck and enjoy it.
