Invite to attend a meeting @ Depot...
Can RM force you to attend a meeting @ a RM Depot, whilst l'm on Sick Leave until 26/12/22. The main reason for my sickness is Work Related Stress (line manager) & l have refused to cross the threshold of the depot ,but l've had a couple of meetings "off-site" whilst being off sick.

Have you got a union rep? can you get advice but long and short is they could stop your pay if you don't attend you could ask that the person who caused you the stress not be there but no guarantees on that. Hope you can resolve it and this is not easily done I know all the best!derek watson wrote: ↑02 Dec 2022, 22:58Can RM force you to attend a meeting @ a RM Depot, whilst l'm on Sick Leave until 26/12/22. He can ask that the person not be there that caused his stress but in all probability they will be so not turning up will be cut off of pay. If he does go in they will say move to a different section/office which may cause more stress thing is non of this will resolve the root cause of the problem!

Think u can join union anytime u have a contract with RM, the way things are now wouldn’t be a bad idea to join.

Continue having the meetings off site, you do not have to have it at your place of work.derek watson wrote: ↑02 Dec 2022, 22:58Can RM force you to attend a meeting @ a RM Depot, whilst l'm on Sick Leave until 26/12/22. You can, but depending on the rep they cannot, unless they do so voluntarily in a personal capacity, take on a members issue if it happened before they became a member.
So,me reps will help, others may not, it is a personal choice as it goes against the Unions rules.

You have remained in contact and continue to do so ,that is all thats required.
Just carry on Face 2 Face meetings off site / home wherever you feel comfortable.
Check out ,Breath-work ,really helps for stress.
All the best
