Sick pay while on strike ?

How does it work ? I’ve been off this past week with the flu ( from Monday onwards ) do I get docked the strike days still or not? I read something a while back about it it wasnt the day before or after the strike you should get paid but I can’t find the document now . Side note I got a message to see if I was well enough to come back in today , I didnt but if I did would I of got the full pay still? Thanks

You should get paid whilst on sick leave.

Yes you should, and it's not for your manager to assume you were on strike and should be docked wages.
If your conscience worries you then donate the strike day's money to the CWU, or even something worthwhile.

Did it matter when you went back ? I went back the day after strike last week so I should still get paid them I assume ?

just been told i won't get paid for not being able to go to work on Thursday , as it's a day before Industrial action ! WTF ?

apparently not ! have to raise a grieveance with manager to get paid for sick on a day before strike action !

Same here, except I had a day off sick the day after the strike. Been told by my rep to ring HR and raise a grievance

Why the need for a grievance simple you should be paid im sure after call to hr you will be paid.
