What will you do if you leave?

Seen a lot of people are looking to leave if certain agreements are made; Sundays/evenings etc.

Now I don’t want to work them at all, and if they come in I’ll be looking for something else.

However, I’ve been here 5 years now and before that worked in sales and retail, starting at the bottom and leaving after being a manager for about 10 years or so, and I struggle to see what else is out there that doesn’t already incorporate Sundays and later working.

So I guess my question is; if you’re planning on leaving if changes come into effect, what are you planning to do/where are you planning to apply?

I left last week after 18 years and started work for the Civil Service this week.

Working for my son. He’s a plasterer. So I’ll do anything he needs me too. Hoping to be gone by next November. But sooner if I have to.

Think the question should be which of the available jobs with similar pay that don’t incorporate a weekly soaking will we all choose?

Working in maintenance+cleaning at the local university, 6am till 10.50am Monday to Friday. Not much money (but I’m only on £17k at RM anyway).

Plenty of jobs out there and minimum wage on the rise Monday to Friday jobs you can easily get 20-25k a year
No life this Royal Mail now been here 12 years each year I think what is the next thing that there going to do will I be in a job next year
I have young kids barley any weekends with them and may be going to a 1 in 6 then Sundays come on guys Fcuk this iam out very soon

I don’t care when I work,I just don’t want to keep coming home so knackered I full asleep and don’t have a social life. Not getting soaked anymore for rubbish money and bosses who want more and more and more. 36 years in and still fit and can do a good hard days graft, but I’m out of here soon.
