Working day off pay rate.
Can anybody please advise what the pay rate for working your day off is? I’m full time 37 hr contract

You earn less for working your day off than you do for working your regular day! I don’t know any other business that give you less money the more you work and that’s my answer to the dim every time I cut off and never work my day off

Well you can actually thank your union for that... it's the CWU who oppose overtime being paid at an enhanced rate because they would rather the business employ more and more staff.. so the union can get more and more unearned income from union membership subs.

And if I remember correctly the union wanted a better basic rate, without the need to rely on overtime.

Lost £118.92 for strike day worked day off got £93.87 don't think I will bother working day off any more
