Sunday service update - We’ve launched a new Sunday product
We have launched a new Sunday product, which will give our business customers the option to have a Special Delivery Guaranteed (SDG) item that has been posted on a Saturday delivered on a Sunday.
The product supports our move to become a seven-day parcel delivery service as we reinvent Royal Mail for the next generations.
The new product follows the success of delivering Royal Mail Tracked 24 on Sundays. SDG delivery on Sundays gives our customers more options, including the ability to send higher value parcel contents that require added security during transit.
The product will not be available for customers to buy from a Post Office. Delivery for the new product will be by the ‘end of the day’ (not 9am or 1pm).
SDG items will be recognisable by the absence of the by 9am or by 1pm logo denoting that it's an end of day product and delivered on the Sunday Hub parcel routes alongside Tracked 24.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It's bad enough already on Saturdays with Saturday Guarantees for businesses that only operate Monday to Friday.
Complete waste of our time to go there on a Saturday. Now an extra day of wasting someone's time to go there on a Sunday.
Awesome.

I dont get the absolute con paying for a Saturday Guarantee is, I am told Saturday is a normal working day so why are people having to pay a premium for it. Its not like the days of 2 deliveries and finished by 10am on Saturday anymore. Absolute con.
