Manpower now offering more money for Temps.

When I joined Manpower a couple of years ago I started on £10+ and over 8 months moved onto £12+. They are now offering £13.37 and have changed the role title to Postal Walker, this was previously Postperson with Driving. The ad does require candidates to have a driving license

Was paying about £12.50 an hour when I was with them in April. They seem to just increase the rates in increments every quarter which would do for us if RM could do the same. Sunday rates are way more than RM offer us, would be nice if they put the rates up for us and would probably increase interest and save them money.

They are increasing the rates because they cant get people and can’t retain the people they already had. Same as the permanent workforce.

Not the same agency, but it still made me laugh when I started, description was somethign like "delivering mail" and I was upfront and said "so royal mail then" and got the "we don't divulge client names until acceptance (including non-compete and other junk)" nonsense. It's a legal monopoly, who else was it gonna be?

Maybe we should all call them and ask what is the best rate is bet it is better than ours!

Around 4 hours delivery! Really the agency guy we’ve had this week took 8 hours first day and is now down to 6 hours! That’s a lot of money to pay yet manager complains about us putting in protracted!

How are they clowns. Were you up to speed when you first started. Just another worker trying to earn some cash ffs. Your probably don't help new starts but if that's how you get off, fill yer boots. :arrrghhh
