IT Helpdesk Support

Post by cjo1964 »

Hi.
Has anyone else had problems with getting knowledgeable IT support from our current helpdesk ?
I say this as I have had to call them a few times since RM changed the phone number and in both cases I knew more about Pcs and operating systems than the support individual did !
Its very frustrating when you need a few basic things done and find that the person you are talking to is either intelligible or has the lack of knowledge to provide support.
Is it just me that has this problem or have any of you had similar dealings ?

Sorry not much help, but that is a funny post.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Haha this typifies rm, it's been like that for years when phoning HR, not long ago you'd brush it off thinking how s**t they are at everything but quite frankly it's just not funny anymore :thumbdown :mad
