Have to feel sorry for poor blokes family in Essex? when he was killed by a RM manager. I bet he was breaking a few rules and regulations with his hours and some poor sod,s family have to live with the consequencies.

Yea, it appears from the local news that RM are putting a bit of distance between themselves and the manager

They've used this manager to break a strike, then leave him to fend for himself when the chickens come home to roost. If that isn't a warning to every other manager who goes strike breaking, then I don't know what is. If they have no consideration for anything else they should consider their own families, and the family of this manager don't deserve this whatever we think of the dispute.

Apparently RM are also investigating the manager who tipped the artic over in Kent, they are blaming him for it being overloaded and not secured, also rumour has it his driving details were 3 months out of date so he should'nt of been driving it anyway. The managers must realise now they will be s**t on from a great height if they mess up.

I heard ( but do not have confirmation to show you ) that the Feds are not going to take this to the CPS - ergo, he won't be prosecuted.....any chance worker could be given the same exemption?

Moved to Blue Shirts.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
