PEGASUS

Post by swintontillidie »

We have been told that the changes suggested by Pegasus have to be implemented at my delivery office by August 28th and the proposals are non negotiable. The new walk schedules have been posted in the office for perusal but it seems we have no right of appeal or an opportunity to vote on the changes. Is this happening at other offices?

Get your rep to get a disagreement in sharpish that will delay any exec action, if he hasnt already done so if he has request a local ballot for IA.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Its called Geo route now. There has been no agreement on walk speeds and call points so your rep needs to go to stage 1 disagreement.

They expect us to walk at 4 mph when the average walking speed is 3mph how would they feel when they got to their ninth bag in sweltering heat or pissing hard with rain

Ask TrueBlueTerrier or Rocky about what a complete shambles that Geo bollocks is. A lot of walks at their office are now well over 4 hours.

Do your walks by the book

Post by deadbox »

If you cannot complete your delivery within the allotted time that RM have set you, CUT OFF

As the CWU has stated Health & safety as enshrined in LAW, ...do your walk by the book following ALL the correct H & S rules.....Work to your 318 ( that the RM typed up )....Don't come in early / work late

Make SURE that you do your duty correctly, and DON't cut corners just to get done on time and don't make time and go home early...Your paid for 8 / 10 hours a day....so work that long.....don't leave yourself open to a charge of defrauding the company

Don't work past your time as you may become STRESSED by the pressure that your employer may put upon you by insisting that your not working hard enough

If your feeling that you are being bullied & or harrassed.....CALL the B & H help line and have it LOGGED

If your feeling STRESSED.....seek help from your GP, als log this with the B & H line....they are there to HELP !

Stress can lead to MENTAL & / or PHYSICAL symtoms......You don't want to die young for your JOB.....take some time OFF, and log it down as the symptoms of STRESS with your EMPLOYER / B & H LINE / Get HELP

Write to the HSE stating that your employer is IGNORING h&s regs......TELL your H&S rep of your problems.....

You HAVE THE RIGHT UNDER L A W TO HAVE H&S LAW ENFORCED !

IT's YOUR RIGHT !!!

RM can say anything they want....BUT THE LAW is the LAW !....It is SUPREME over company rules
I was sure I'd seen a bead of sweat on my line manager the other day - Until I realised that he had just brushed past me too close
