Scab talking?

Post by somerset »

Before you start hurling abuse at me I AM NOT A SCAB okay.Have been on each picket so far and tommorows :nana and as many as CWU dictate. My point is in our office of about fifty we have a scab :so there but i spotted a couple of people having a good old chin wag with him, as it was so quiet. As if nothing had happened. These couple of people have never been on picket duty.I told my militant mate and i said i refuse to talk to them who chat with a scab. Am i being juvenile in my actions ? :so there

IMHO opinion this is a matter of conscience. If you feel you don't want to talk to the strike breakers mates you have very right to do that. Just like the blokes who talk to the strike breakers have the same right.

However, I don't think I could talk to a scab in anything less than an official capacity. strike breakers mates I'd have to think about it but they may have to show solidarity by appearing on the picket.

wont speak to strike breakers myself unless it's work related and unavoidable. if other people want to talk to them thats their problem. you could soon have an office where no one is speaking to any one. a divided office is not good

" Aww Taff (spoken in welsh accent!!) bring the lift to this level, i want to knock out a couple of ton of coal before the rest of them turn up on time.

There's no f***ing way I'm talking to strike breakers. They are just parasites living off the backs of decent workers who fought for the terms and conditions these b***ards take for granted. I'm not going to go out of my way to be spiteful to them, but there aint no way I'm hugging one. :mad

Thank you! I was 21 before I realised 'scab bastard' was two words. My mam and dad brought us up properly!
