END OF YEAR RESULTS

Now that we are almost into august isn't it about time we started to publicise the fact that RM have not published the results for their financial year. I will be writing to my MP and the Prime Minister asking for this to be made public knowledge. I will also be writitng to Allan Leighton asking why they have not been published.
Then when I get the replies I will be sending them to the local press and reading them out at WTLs.
Everyone should be doing the same.

Im guessing that Leighton dont want you to know how many £millions are stashed away so that you will accept the 2.5% with strings.

Hello J. ******, the facts are quite simple as to why we have not signed off this year's financial results and they are we have made a f*cking sh*t load of cash & we really do not know what to do with it all. Yes, we could actually give all our staff a 4.5% or greater payrise, or a three figure bonus, or make good work on filling that hole in the pension fund - but seriously, these are challenging times and we wanted to take that challange up, on your behalf, as you, an employee, would want us to. So the challenge we set ourselves was to throw the money around, like confetti in a ticker tape parade, till it was all gone, before the report could be published and before any awkward members of the media started asking questions and poking their noses into my business.

Fortunately, though, we have nearly made it to the finish line, what with purchasing and wall-fixing LCD tvs at vastly inflated prices ( even the dodgiest shop owner with a scam on over priced tellies & a brother in law that'd fix 'em to the wall for 3 three times the price it should cost wouldn't charge what we paid ), and then there was all the managerial bonuses starting at 4 figures for all, but that's alright, cos once we've dispensed with the agitators on the shop floor ( and lots of innocent victims - collateral damage is a shame, but if it reduces the labour bill, who cares? Not me or Adam ), we'll be gunning for the management team....if we chop enough LMs, ADOMs & DOMs, we could even lose a few area managers too - it would go all the way up the hiarchy, but for the law of diminishing returns, so me and Adam will be safe ( unless I need a sacrificial lamb, or he annoys me ). It's quite simple, all the minor infractions we've ignored lately, will be resurrected ( except for B&H - need something to get postmen to quit voluntarily ), and those managers will get hounded out.

If we still have far too many postmen and managers, as a last resort, we'll start using redundencies.....but I really want to avoid that, as it will use a lot of money in the short term, just as I'll be leaving and want to grab all the cash I can get hold of.

Anyway, I hope that has cleared up any confusion for you, which will be a comfort no doubt, as your P45 turns up on your frame / lands on your doormat / is stuck on a notice board by a manager that specialises in B&H in, ooooh, 5 weeks? 7 weeks tops
