current trend how many hours is your office lasping a week?

is it me or there seems to be current trend in my office to lapse hours.
eg last night we lapse 11 jobs on nights. ok doesnt sound alot but this just under 20% of the workforce in my office.most weeks we lapse jobs on nights never met our budget always over in our office.
we make 92p and the managers make there bonus. is this anyway to run a service ?:sad:

Surely something does'nt quite add up or am I being a bit thick.

WE ARE THE SAME IN OUR OFFICE THEY ARE LAPSING 10 JOBS ON NIGHTS, THE MANAGERS ARE STRUGGLING TO GET THE MAIL ON IN THE MORNING, THE WALKING POSTMEN/WOMEN WERE TOLD TO GO ON THE SORTING ASWELL AS THE MANAGERS SORTING THE MAIL WITH A SWEAT ON!!!!
IT REALLY DOES NOT ADD UP WITH OUR BUDGET/SAVINGS ETC, WE HAD NO BONUS.

THE JOB IS GETTING REALLY SH** THESE DAYS.

MY OFFICE HAS STARTED 'SUMMER LAPSING' (UNPAID OVERTIME ACTUALLY!) THIS WEEK - 4 40 HOUR WALKS AND A PART-TIME PACKET WALK OF ABOUT 25 HOURS. ALL US POSTIES ARE DOING BETWEEN 25 AND 45 EXTRA CALLS EACH, HENCE THE UNPAID OVERTIME!
THIS HAD BEEN OK FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS, BECAUSE MAIL HAS BEEN (MANAGERS SAY) LIGHT, WE SAY 'AT AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL!'. BUT BECAUSE OVER THE LAST TWO DAYS MANY JOBS WERE LAPSED AT OUR DISTRIBUTION CENTRE, THERE IS BARROWLOADS OF STUFF TO COME TOMORROW. AND SO, I'M HOPING IT WILL ALL FALL DOWN AND LOADS WILL BE UNABLE TO COMPLETE AND MUGGINS HERE WILL DO HIS PROTRACTED! BRING IT ON . . . .

Why has ur office started summer lasp? while that is what we r strike for? i dont agree with it at all.. did duty holders loose there walks??? if so how do they decide which 4 duties go???
