Whistles

Post by Punk »

Just had a call from my union rep, he's been at a meeting this afternoon regarding Friday's action and apparently we've been issused with whistles and wrist bands! :Very Happy

Has anyone else been issused with any "tools"?

I assume we'll be blowing our whistles at the strike breakers as they crawl through the gates, we have though been sternly warned by the area rep not to blow them at 430am. :no no

Cheers

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Yeah. Our tool sits in the office all day drinking tea and sending dodgy emails. Alan Leighton would refer to him as a 'manager'

Our rep says he will tell us tomorrow what is happening about the picket line on Friday, it just happens to be his day off. We have been asking him all week

about it and he wont give a straight answer. Will he have placards organised for us do you think???? :confused

I've got my own flag mate. A big red one with 'IWW I.U.560 POSTAL WORKERS' on it. These flags are available for a few quid from http://www.mrflag.com/p/4711/Red_Flag__Economy_.html

You just put your own lettering on then.

Just had the Area Rep on the phone, `Tools for the job` I will collect from him at the `Branch` Thursday. Give your Area Rep a bell. But, as mentioned, if all else fails, make up some thing as best you can. And on a cheerful note, our lads/ladies drove the `Screws` mad this morning with the Whistles, Oh what deep joyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
