PLASMA SCREENS

Post by billypants »

Now this didn't happen in my office as our screen is yet to be connected properly, but I hear rumours that today (saturday) many other offices had their new plasma screens leap into life and start showing images of people holding placards saying things like "if you strike I wont get my birthday card from my grandaughter" and similar heart pulling crap.

Anyone out there actually have this happen . . . . . surely it can't be true . . . Royal Mail wouldn't stoop that low . . would they ?

Unbelievable but true, old man that would not get his message from the Queen, sad little boy who wouldn't get his comic, young girl no birthday cards, and a man that was waiting for a cheque, etc. etc. How could anyone trust a man (I use that term loosely) that uses tactics like that way, way, below the belt. VOTE... YES YES YES YES :nana :nana

Does anybody out there know how to sabotage these brainwashing machines without actually damaging them

I reckon that could prove useful

I've also just heard a rumour that "health and safety" want them removed anyway as someone, somewhere, was watching one whilst pushing a york and ran into a workmate. Making them a real risk to our safety. Don't know if it's true but it's a good story to tell your screw and ask for it to be turned off :no no

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

There was an email from alan st john holt to Dave Joyce apparently, saying that they should not be placed on Office floor as too much of a distraction. Should only be in WTL areas. Although believe Holt died a few weeks ago, but he was right def a distraction!!!!

6000 Screens

Post by de-coded »

To put it another way, I don't think Plymouth MDEC has one yet but they have bought £6000 screens for all offices and po counters at a total cost of £15 million, yet theres no money for a pay rise.
