Newish sick pay and ops

Post by Chelseablue »

Hi , looking likely that i might be off work, due to having a hip replaced . Been in pain both sides ( a few years now) but esp the right side with groin pain on right also ( near a year) . Worried about the awful sick pay agreement and losing money being off a few months. ? Near 30 years in maybe taken its toll.

Don't you get full pay for 6 months?

Im a little out of touch, but yeah six month full. You will loose first two days of absence if been sick within 12 months of your op?
Good luck with your recovery.

You should be covered by the Equality Act which means you shouldn't lose that pay.
