Perhaps you pick an extra 2 weeks, after everyone has picked their standard 4 weeks. This will let you know what is left to choose from.

yeah, some people just skive for a week or 2, whereas some honest people buy the extra annual leave. It's wrong, but I guess nothing can be done about it....

unless instead they reward people that have low sickness by allowing them to book an extra week of annual leave off at no cost the following year. 4 or less days off sick in a year qualifies you for the extra week off..... but that's likely gunna cost RM, so that won't happen.

They used to give out vouchers at one time, to people who went a certain amount of time without going sick.

This link explains why POAL was suspended until the pay rise was implemented.

Part of the letter states; "Royal Mail has said it is happy for individuals to continue to use salary sacrifice in the future but wish
to review the car lease scheme to ensure that this does not result in the company breaching the minimum wage law"

My payslips for this week & last do not show POAL deduction as was the case pre April 2025.
So I am bemused as to why POAL has not resumed.

I emailed HR last night to ask the same question (why POAL deductions haven't resumed), I will post again when they reply.

I finally got a reply from HR today:

'We are currently waiting for an update around the payments for POAL as we has the same information as yourself.

This will be communicated to managers via the comms when an update is available'

Someone at our place had their POAL payments suspended a while back  because the extra expense took their wages below the minimum wage. Said person also on an older contract not one of the newer peops.

Has the same thing happened with other salary sacrifice schemes like C2W ?

Not sure about C2W but one person went to renew his car package and wasn't allowed for the same reason. He now has to work out of His nearest office because he no longer has a car.
