Whoever told you that has got it wrong. Currently all DSA is 2nd class, one is a 2 day product, the other is a 5 day product. There's a 3 day product coming in soon which in theory most of the 2 day stuff will get migrated over to. There's a Premium DSA product coming out, don't know when but I believe that will be 1st class. Hopefully whe it does come out RM will make sure that it's marked up differently from the rest of the DSA.

If RM have actually decided to class all DSA as 1C then they may as well do away with the DTS as that'll probably leave a couple of boxes of deferred mail for a wave 1 batch at most. Each day you'll have as much 2C being released as what is being deferred.

If you are instructed to deliver it by your manager then that's what you do, if that means you have to cut off that's for your manager to sort out

There's over half dozen different types of 1c mail, I've no idea how the company feel.we've got the time to check two duties mail to pull it all out each day, once you've done that you've then got 20+ pieces of mail plus the Tracked and 1c packets to deliver on both duties.

At our office we’ve been told to extract anything and everything with a first class stamp but nothing else, ie, franked first class mail and everything else stays in. One of the managers did some calculations by walking round the frames and supposedly counting, and he reckons even the busiest duty has no more than 10 such items each day. I then found 40 on just one duty!

And I would totally agree. Customers with franking machines who pay for the first class service should receive it, otherwise they are being ripped off.

So what is your contractual hourly wage for next month then? Bearing in mind you are an ex Amazon driver, employed as a DPR driver, as a casual...or are have you been roped into working a 40hr 7 day contract on £12.54 per hour? Haha

We don't judge. You maybe have a tiny bit of respect for your fellow new starts no??
