Re: Holidays upon leaving
Surely you know what holidays you've been given and taken so far this year?
Then you'll have to work out if (when you potentially leave in Oct) if you've taken more or less leave already pro-rata wise for this leave year.
Same with public holidays.

Re: Holidays upon leaving
To make it simple if you left the end of September that's 6 months so half your allowance of 6 weeks for over 20 years service so I think if you left end of October you'd be owed approx 2.5 days worth

Make sure you take a screenshot from the app of your leave balance before you leave employment as you won't have access afterwards and they aren't always forthcoming at paying in lieu of outstanding leave balance.

Did we not get any leave in the first year of service? If I left on 31 March would I get my entitlement of 4 weeks 3 days?

For that you'd have to work a full year without taking any holidays.geordieboy123 wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025, 05:55Did we not get any leave in the first year of service? If I left on 31 March would I get my entitlement of 4 weeks 3 days?
