Are we already ripping up part one before the ballot even closes

I really fail to understand the lack of clarity.

So part one of the agreement we are voting on states the first step for new entrants to equalise terms will be implemented within 3 months of EP group taking charge. We are now 18 days away from missing that deadline (2nd June EP group took charge) and we have not heard a single word about what the first step will be.
How are they planning on implementing the step when nobody even knows what it is yet, surely we are not thinking of ripping up the first part of the agreement literally 5 days after the ballot has closed.
I appreciate the vote might be a ‘no’ but at least tell us what the first step for new entrants will be so we can vote with more information.

Just got my ballot paper this morning and it says vote yes, yes, yes, yes all around the sides. I'm not taken in by the subliminal messages. There are 2 links at the bottom of the paper that everyone should read:

And you are quite right, it does not actually disclose what this first step actually is towards equalising the new entrants terms. So you are basically voting blind. Hopefully, most of the new entrants won't feel duped if they vote yes and then find out that the "first touch" is a bit underwhelming.

Part one of equalization i would say hasn't even been made up.. it will be fired together on august 31st.. they talk about equalization, does that mean the new entrants go to weekly pay as well.

Does a new starter commencing work on October 1st get the new deal or they got to wait 3 years ?

Although only as a returning ex postie I work with people I've known 20+ years at my DO and the CWU rep had my back when I was agency and not a CWU member.

Legacy Union Members at my DO agree we have a s**t deal, not a single one bears any malice towards us.

Most DO's have already lost the "20%" so we're certainly not voting for that reduction.

The 20% reduction is just scaremongering nonsense. No idea why anyone thinks that has anything to do with the reality of most people's workloads. Unless you have a cushy job and are worried the good times are coming to an end.

51 rounds with 71 posties a month ago, 3 doing 4 will take it down to 56 employees, 15/71 is approximately 20% reduction. You’ll have to explain how it’s scaremongering nonsense
