I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Empty talk from a union that has allowed a company to prioritise tracked items at the expense of the mail.

If we took everything in the frame up until our time without cutting off to deliver tracked we would have a true understanding of what the size of the duty should be, a true understanding of how many duties were needed in a unit and a true understanding of how many bodies we need to staff a unit. QofS would then fix itself. Instead its organised chaos and daily disagreements with management.

Tell me why it needs to be more complicated than this?

Unless of course... its not about QofS and its about cost cutting on staff. In which case, have at it but we should be putting disagreements in at every turn when a manager questions a posties ability to complete a duty that is by design too big. Its inherently built in bullying and harassment.

Webb's hot air could put Drax power station out of business. The CWU is not a serious credible organisation.

Finally, somebody who sees it as it is! They "got rid" of "lapsing" and lo and behold most duties have loops added miles away from the duties. This is enforced lapsing! If they don't put walks back in, then students coming back and the run up to Xmas will be an absolute comedy. I've been on 5 different walks in the last 5 days and they are all too big. Also, management blame culture has to stop! From an H&S perspective all of this is very concerning :no no

"to people who seem to be genuinely listening"

Isn't that the same sort of sentiment that was initially expressed about Thompson - and look what happened there.......

I don’t give a toss what my manager earns. Focus on securing my job and pay rise CWU. Thanks.

It's not any of the CWU's business either.

Absolutely. They might as well be whining about the CEO’s wage for all that affects me. This is a pathetic video from the union.
