Annual leave rejected

Post by yorkshire25 »

Hi, looking for a bit of advice on annual leave if anyone can help please. So I have a weeks A/L booked off in October that I want to cancel and book 2 seperate Friday/Mondays off for long weekends away but I’ve been told no I’m not allowed any more ‘single days’ is this even allowed? Surely if the week isn’t fully allocated then I’m allowed to use my annual leave whenever I want no? Thanks!

All I know is it's still permitted at our office, tbh it's actually easier for management these days as when there's duties uncovered they just leave them undelivered anyway and get one of the ot gang to do the trackeds etc.

This will come down to local agreements. Our policy is that you can split one week of A/L into single days, but the remainder of your leave must be taken as full weeks.
