In the trial offices, 3 people doing what 4 did, are the walkers using trollies and how often does the diver have to break off his packest to replenish thevwalkers with letters?

Yes basically 3 people responsible for 4 duties as they are now, this is assuming the duties were pairs of shared van duties.

The way it's supposed to work is :

Two people do everything on a van share just like now but only every other weekday so 5 times per fortnight instead of 6 days per week

The third person does parcels and 1c items on the other two duties, again this is every other weekday as they swap the duties round so for example.

Monday duties 1&2 full delivery, duties 3&4 only parcels+1c,

Tuesday duties 3&4 full delivery, duties 1&2 only parcels+1c and so on throughout the week.

Saturday only 2 of the 3 people are required as all duties only receive parcels+1c.

So no need for driver dropping off mail or anything like that, trolleys might be used if people want to who knows.

There's already absolutely loads of posts on here on the subject have a read through them for more info.

So what happens to the 4th person pre revision ? Do they get shoved off the duty they’ve previously picked? Would it be the person with the least seniority?

There’s a clear process in place: if all four individuals are signing for the same duty they were on, the decision will ultimately be based on seniority, just as it currently stands.

What happens when 1 person is sick for a week and 1 person is on holiday for a week. What is the remaining 1 person supposed to do - all of it ?

There would still need to be reserves - same as now
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

The whole thing has been needlessly over complicated. 2nd class/downstream mail is being moved from 12 days to 5 days a fortnight for each address.

Maybe the company should have performed a trial with 4, 8 or 12 duties within an office and then scaled it up with what works, rather than throw a whole unit into chaos.

Assuming by walker you mean a non driver, how often would you expect a trolley to be replenished? Assuming the non driver is taking out a full trolley in the morning they are only going to need it replenished once during their duty.

I don't mean a HTC ,I mean a trolly with 2 pouches either side, that would be about an hour or so on my duty, so at least 3 times? Or more likely 2 times as the driver will be taking the tracked etc? We've had fxxk all information from management or local reps

Why would someone be replenishing a trolley if they don't do it already? Don't you currently work from a shared van?

Same as now. They move people around and / or use reserves to cover all duties.

It's actually really straightforward, I don't know why so many people can't get their heads around it.

Whether it works or not is a very different question.
