People App - Raising Concerns

Post by Opus Pocus »

I am considering using the People App to raise a couple of relatively minor issues at my DO. These concern staff at all levels but the action required is minimal.

I've tried consulting managers over the last twelve months and nothing gets done. The CWU are about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

The problem is that if I do raise the issues, it is obvious where it has come from and I am fearful of repercussions.

Any advice on how I can proceed safely is welcome or do I just live with it?

Without knowing what the issue is how can we possibly comment.

If there are issues and you have raised them with management and they have done nothing about it I would suggest starting a diary of all instances and interactions of said issue. If you intend to escalate it you will need it. Management have a legal duty of care and failure to address a genuine problem can land them in hot water. You would think if it was serious enough to raise with management and union then it doesnt sound like a minor issue.
