Straight to conduct.
So now certain incidences are being threatened to bypass the coaching and Counselling and just go straight to conduct.
One example is that we have been told if anyone clocks out earlier (and we are talking even 5 minutes) then we will get conducted.
This is just one example recently from the managers.
Is this something the union have no control of? If that is the case they may as well get rid of the three C's and just have one.
We are just feeling more threatened everyday.

I guess it’s how serious they consider this and other matters conduct is always threatened and every so often they clamp down on the core standards just do as the ask or say keep your head down and go home on time stress free

Re: Straight to conduct.
I would ask the Union if RM are now acting outside of agreed procedures by bypassing the 3C's and demand an answer in writing. Whilst I don't condone anyone clocking out an hour early; 10-15 minutes is not too much of a big deal in my book as long as you have done what has been asked on the day. Sure there is always work available to do somewhere but in our office the managers have sometimes gone home early. And what I would say is that if one person gets hit with conduct unfairly then it is very easy for them to isolate - but if it's a collective issue, management tend to back off.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Never ceases to amaze me how people think they can just clock out early as though it's their right, even if there's nothing left to do your paid till your time and have no right to go home early those days are long gone.

Why should you clock out early, Siso are recording you. If your finish time is 1355, queue up and clock out at 1355 and go home. Not at 1350.

And me.
Clock systems are how companies keep track of employee's time-keeping, so why would anyone think that "15 minutes early" to go off home would be acceptable?

I clock out 5/10 minutes early everyday day purely because people come in late 5/10 minutes every day , until they deal with both issues the same, I will continue to do so.

We’ve been told they want this for things like denial of receipt, not sign out times yet. Don’t think anyone has faced conduct so far possibly because of the agreement. I reckon they want to rattle a few cages before the changes come in.

Good for you, but you think that will stop you being conducted, if it ever came to that?chickenwittle wrote: ↑14 May 2025, 10:45I clock out 5/10 minutes early everyday day purely because people come in late 5/10 minutes every day , until they deal with both issues the same, I will continue to do so.
"I do it because he does it" has never worked as a defence before.

I worry there is going to be an overhaul of the way things are done, and it won't just be a simple case of making sure you clock out on time. What you are doing in those hours you are paid will be under huge scrutiny.

Re: Straight to conduct.
I’ve already been questioned about it and told managers reasons I do it , nothing gets said about it anymore, if they want to ignore late starters they can ignore me nipping away early.Tman wrote: ↑14 May 2025, 13:08Good for you, but you think that will stop you being conducted, if it ever came to that?chickenwittle wrote: ↑14 May 2025, 10:45I clock out 5/10 minutes early everyday day purely because people come in late 5/10 minutes every day , until they deal with both issues the same, I will continue to do so.

Why would they conduct for this? More likely payroll will not pay you the hours for being late or leaving early.

Re: Straight to conduct.
No doubt we are eventually going to have to scan all our indoor work and I don't mean packets.
Sorting letters in the morning? Scan the barcode on the IPS when you start and when you finish
Prepping a duty? Scan barcode on the frame when you start and when you finish
Going for your break? Scan barcode when you start and when you finish
The outdoor stats have been collected since the PDA became our master, indoor work will be where they will be pushing for time savings and to cut managerial jobs
