Very busy day again. People on leave and at least one on the sick. He rang in today and the gaffer wasn't impressed... he's got form for this. Pleased to see they got my overtime right, few mistakes recently. Bring on tomorrow, it's pay day!

Found an amazon parcel just dumped on a doorstep today, would have got wet if it rained. Obviously if anyone saw it, including a manager, they would have presumed I did it.

Very busy day for parcels today. Many people were still out delivering at 3. Got a feeling tomorrow will be much the same.

Went for a nice swim in the North Sea to dry off.

had a stark reminder today about just how much some staff think they are way above the rest of us. sure, DOMS/DIMS can make the job a sh*t one, but the arrogance of the 'i've been here 15/20/25 years mob' does my head in.

Busy day but didn't think the parcels were that many for a Friday. The flyers in the office got soaked as they skipped their breaks. Quite amusing I thought.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Two yorks of oversize packets, four drop bags of smaller packets, mail for every door, but it did not rain. Finished duty to be confronted with next weeks d2d, mountains of the stuff. Looks like 8 boxes of something bulky (pens in them probably) plus trays of other stuff. How I am going to fit it all in the van next week I have no idea. I have had enough, who wants to join my escape committee?
