Dire day... and a dire week to look forward to. Not that I want to do that!
Five household items. Not much you might think, but when they consist of a travel mag about 20 pages thick, another magazine about the same thickness. A small "magazine" for various insurance companies etc, again about twenty pages thick and the usual pizza fliers and a letter from a phone company. Add mail in for over 1500 households and it soon mounts up!
Got shot of one magazine today and doing the same tomorrow for the other one, meaning each bag will be between 7kgs (going upstairs) to a max of 16 kgs on the flat, using a trolley. Then add in the packets, specials, tracked and signed for items and we've got a crap week ahead.
Sixteen bags today  instead of the ten we normally have for a Monday. To cap it all we got caught in a sharp cloud burst, that lasted about fifteen minutes, towards the end of the last two loops. We got back over our time, booking forty-five mins, including the twenty minute meal relief. And today, Monday, was light on mail and packets too!

Not looking forward to the rest of the week. :evil/mad :thumbdown

Same here. Cut off 1/4 of my walk plus all oversized. Which I have been informed will need to be fed in tomorrows mail as it's summer and it's only light traffic! :arrrghhh

Still, if it's as "light" tomorrow as it has been today I expect I'll be cutting off 1/2 a round and all the oversized! You really couldn't make it up!

Long busy day. Ending with a spell in the callers office. Some numpty parked a van across the gate so I've moved it as far as I could and hopefully it will be hidden for a while behind all the cars in the morning.

I think you may have misunderstood the communication, they are worried about your h&s, as the parcel stacks on the top shelf of the RM2000 frame are getting concerningly high and unstable. :chuckle :left:

I'm more worried about bundles of blankets flying out of open windows situated above the door I'm stood at. Bloke did this the other day. :chuckle

sorry if youre going to have a "crap week" but it sounds like you dont do yourself many favours - Make life easier on yourself and cut off at your scheduled finish time if theres too much work (which from what youre saying seems to be the case) and take full meal break before you go out. Thats what I do, rarely do I finish and feel exhausted, unless ive been up late the night before !

A bit wet to start with. Fortunatly, very light mail, and since we are all starting a half hour earlier in my DO, I got home and finished for 1pm!
