Easy day I finished at 12.20 but I started 30 minutes early as I got to be somewhere at 2.30pm Just want to make sure I finished at 2pm. I like the walk I do this week as it is only 400 houses and lot of walking and not too heavy. It should help me to burn more weight off me. I lost about 8.5 kg since Summer.

Hammered with packets on Friday but quiet on Saturday. For a change. Had 0 D2Ds last week but been told I've got 4 next. Doesn't make any sense to me how it can be so different. The o/t must fluctuate immensely as a result.

I sometimes wonder how the twenty-year men got through twenty years without slitting their wrists. Maybe they can't control a good razor blade, or worse, they can't afford one.

Institutionalisation.
The first night's the toughest, no doubt about it. They march you in naked as the day you were born, skin burning and half blind from that delousing s**t they throw on you, and when they put you in that cell... and those bars slam home... that's when you know it's for real. A whole life blown away in the blink of an eye. Nothing left but all the time in the world to think about it.

"HERE...yer doing the whole round by yerself"...so... that means I gotta do a Full Time Round on Part Time hours.
Oh well...I'm MAN enuff!!! Did it. Luckily it was fairly quiet.

Three people asked me today,"Why are there SO many different posties doing my deliveries?" Tried to explain the "Transformation, Posties in Disguise" system.
Not one of them thought it was a good idea though...

Had a long conversation with the woman at no. 27 about the packet the Hermes courier had left on her doorstep that was clearly addressed to no. 12.
She couldn't understand why I wouldn't redeliver it for her.
