It was - when I got home it was starting to form snow drifts on my road -apparently I was only one to go out all day.

Sent home - really bad snow. Some people didn't make it in. It was really busy too - I can't remember the last time I had a 9am special, and yesterday I had 3! I can't see us going out tomorrow either.

Back to work. Absolutely terrible. Typical run up to a B/H weekend. Total waste of time for us in delivery in my opinion. Would rather work through and get a credit for the day.

Not so quiet Tuesday. DOM went round reminding us to advance the D2Ds as we are a day short. Don't we know it. Anyway, another day then I can put my feet up until Saturday.

Cold wind that cuts through you even though it was sunny for a time.
10 bags for the delivery.. add in the cut off and it would be 14!
Containing:
6 D2D' including the local council magazine, 14 tracked, 8 signed for, voting cards for local elections - for nearly every address, council tax booklets plus the usual junk mail... oh yeah and cards too.. Easter I assume and some birthdays too.

Left at 10:30 and got back to the office at about 3:15pm! Booked excess, along with quite a lot of other posties.. not good having this lot on a short week. So much for households being reduced on a short week!

Day off tomorrow.. plus Bank Holiday on Friday. Feet up for two days.

Thank F%@%*!

Not too bad but we find it strange management want us to do 75% of walk and absorbing or 100% of walk (if no absorbing) We rather do 100% walk and ignore absorbing. Tuesday was hell, but it is quieter today.
