Sounds like your DOM had a re-organisational "brainwave" and cocked it all up.
Our office used to be in sequence, that's to say the delivery numbers on all the frames ran in number order so you could walk through the office and find the walk you needed.. not anymore! They are all over the place now and also with this three digit numbering sequence [why!] and frames that are P&L next to or opposite each other, the mail for them is never even in the same York let alone even in the same area at times. More wasted time trying to find your mech etc, as some trays are not even labelled up now and even have other delivery office mail on the same York as your mail....!

So much for "progress"!

From an orderly organised office to a shambolic and disorganised one in the space of two years.. [that how long we've been on this so-called modernised delivery] and we still have not had our bonus either!

Not a bad Monday. Think it was lighter than sat so prob not much left at the MC. Hopefully the weather will warm up a bit later in the week as i walked in sleet for about 30 mins today.

Finished 15 mins early.
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Quite light today, will get it's revenge tomorrow though i'm sure! Highlight of my day was being shown a new way of prepping D2D's (My 3rd in 4 weeks by the way). You do house fittings ending 1 & 2 on Monday, 3 & 4 on Tuesdays, 5 & 6 on Wednesdays, 7 & 8 on Thursdays and 9 & 10 on a friday...must admit it did spread the load and i didn't even really notice i was doing them! I must get out more though if this was a highlight....

Had a letter with an incomplete address.
Scored out the address with blue crayon but when I turned it over to circle the return address there was just 2 verses of David Bowie's "Life on Mars".
So I circled them instead.

Pretty good for a Wed. Nice weather. Volume was okay as well. And had a few lingerie flats with pictures of nice women on the front which always helps.
