Freezing cold and really heavy. 5 Walk sequenced boxes plus the manual letters and flats. Last box off the machines at 08.50. Packets were much heavier than the last 2 days.

Bleeding weather made a relatively light Wednesday a bit of a chore. It started snowing as we left on delivery - and yes you guessed it stopped as we finished.

The hell of a day didn't happen. Today was another light day and an early finish only ruined by the fact that there was lapsing going on when I got back.

Not too bad today. Mail normal for a Thursday. Loads of packets and signed for's. And mostly dry.

Oh. And loads of cards from Moonpig which don't fit through the letterbox but have 'do not bend' written on them. They soon got folded in half.

Careful, you may get a complaint for damaging an item. As I understand it, 'Do Not Bend' items that don't fit become an attendance call and failing that a P739 is left.
The machine stops.

Hello,

Was a good day, 3rd day of watching and learning, sorted the frame, bar the misdirects.
Only about 12 signed fors, and did a lot more posting.

It's a 9 mile walk in total and finished at 12:30

And it's me day off tomorrow, then in on saurday for the last day of learning and all by myself Monday :nervous

Yes. You are right. I normally do try to leave with a neighbour or maybe put a slight radius on it to get it to fit. If not, I take it back after leaving a P739 but sometimes I snap.

P739ing an Item and returning it to the office means that it wont be just you 'whinging' about packet-bag weights, no. of attendance items etc cos the front office will be fielding customers queries (allegations, 'I was home! Why didn't he knock/ring the bell). It's your discretion whether to knock up neighbours too..
