For balance, I am a "Singleton" on an "Easy" singleton delivery and I am frequently going out with 2-4 times the "25" packets claimed, loading 2 Yorks the majority of days and sometimes 3. Many days I bring back bundles of mail, many days I get asked to ditch my job and take out first class and packets from 2 singleton jobs instead, and I can't even find the time to deliver the first class out of that and just end up taking it for a ride.
If there are jobs going out with 25 tracked packets that is absolutely shocking but I think there is a lot of "The grass is always greener on the other side", BUT bear in mind that those with over 20 years service (I am almost at that myself) have literally ruined their knees and backs for this company and it's not unreasonable to suggest that those members of staff be given lighter duties than those fresh and just in the door.
