Lapsing indoor workload, lapsing outdoor workload, long and shorts, work time learning sessions.
In the days when individual offices had some control over when the mail was delivered we would clear as much of the mailsort as we could on the quieter days, also when deliveries were only 2.30hrs-ish a quiet day had less effect on your daily worked hours as you were back to the office after the first delivery for a 2nd or ASAP or collection.
I'm getting all misty-eyed.
Must be the medication.

Sposed to be out by 9 ...... it was 10.05

Got back on time for 13.41 so not all bad, but it was a "lite day"

Off Tuesday so looking forward to Wednesday :left: ;liar ;liar
Your first day of P&L...

You got out 1 hour later than you should have been...

You finished on time

All true, and as has been said, our rep appears to be great. We went from a proposed 60 -70 job losses, 5 hour del spans, lapsing, and p+l in February '12 to.... 2 people moving to ther offices, 4ish hour del spans, NO lapsing and p&l in Aug '12 not feb12, (with all short term temps kept on as well :nana :nana )

second day of P+L and to be very honest - loving it. :nana

The lwt make such a difference, I can carry my coat, drink around with me and although i never had an issue with carring heavy bags, its nice to be shot of them (on half the walk anyway)
i have to work to time which is a shock to the system  but the loops on the two walks I do are spot on, my partner is great and we help each other out, starting at 9 and finishing at 1.41pm bang on time (god aloan knows why the finish time is "41")

I know when the re pick happens that the mice in the depot have more senioroity than I do, so it will probably go down hill then, but until then - happy days.

?

I hope you're not one of those who has already resorted to carrying a bag three days in. Certain people have been finishing an hour early even on park + loop - funnily enough, they have been spotted by a few of the lads not using the provided equipment. I've heard that some walks are failing but cannot verify it as anything other than conjecture. Frankly ... don't care.

At no point did I argue otherwise, hence the ? mark. Yet the people I speak of are carrying a bag on wide, flat footpaths with clear and easy access to the houses and therefore the letterboxes.

Not at all, half the walk is on an estate of ill repute :nervous with flats where the trolly cannot be left unattended :no no

the rest of the walk is fine so its trolly all the way.

There are a fair amount of bags being brought back un delivered on other walks, I assume not all walks are equal or as well planned out ?
