SB is on the new contracts, ot will be paid 1.25 x normal rate of £14.60 for over 40 hours so £173 at £18.25 per hour is not too unrealistic, 9.5 hours pay.

That's the thing. No point making a big deal of how much you earn when the cost of living is much higher down south. House prices are ridiculous even for a one bedroom flat and the last time I was in a pub near London, a pint cost £8.50!!

A return to starting and finishing a duty before noon is the change I'm desperately hanging on for. Plenty of stuff has come back around - why not that? They axed Sunday working when I started and now it's back. Boxes used to be emptied on foot, then it went to dedicated collections, then it came back to deliveries. And let's not forget when 2020 went retro by bringing back the pouch box.
