Zenith Car Leasing

For those moaning about the delivery time, thats down to the manufacturer not Zenith. They order a brand new car to order (if non in stock at the dealership)
I was looking at pcp deals for my missus (don't care about owning it, just want something reliable I don't have to worry about!) and they came out more expensive than the Zenith deal! As everything bar diesel was included (unlike the PCP option) it was a no brainer! Car gets delivered next month!

Yeah a bit too easy. The car gets delivered too so don't even have to go and collect it!

People using this scheme will be giving up at least 25% of their net income ,just for use of a car that's before fuel.
That seems like a lot of money when looked at like that.
I worked out my own newish car costs me £2600 in depreciation, tax, service and insurance ,£50 per week so maybe 15% net income.
Car ownership is so expensive regardless.

This Tax perk comes to an end in April so those payments will shoot up soon after worth baring in mind.

Any car ordered before April 2017 will not be affected by the tax issue :)
Mines due late Feb :)

Yeah I just read that and any tax hike won't come into effect for 4yrs so looks like now is last chance saloon,get a long term deal and make most of it :).

It worked out a lot cheaper for us to get the car we wanted through this scheme instead if a pcp scheme! Some it will work out better, others it won't!

Yeah if a car is ORDERED before April you're ok. After that it will be a tad dearer! I purposely went for a 4 year deal to take advantage of the last few years of tax relief :)

I'm slightly confused by how this works - I obtained a quote via Zenith, which spelled out the weekly and monthly cost to me, and confirmed it on the MyBundle page, but next to my Car1 perk, it is now showing a weekly cost a great deal more than what I signed up for! It's like £10 a week more. Any ideas?

Might have gone up because of your age/postcode (Insurance issue)?

The payments that come out of my wages were actually lower than my original quote...Maybe use the chat on the zenith site and ask them.

I looked at these 'deals', am I missing something here? £300 a month on a car? I paid £700 for my car 8 years ago, and it always goes through the MOT and has over 314k miles on it!

All done Automatically, the quote has the prices before and after tax I believe (been a good 6 or 7 months since I ordered mine) if I remember rightly the price at the bottom is what comes out of your wages.

You can't get one now as a tax perk,so it's an open market if looking to lease.

All done Automatically, the quote has the prices before and after tax I believe (been a good 6 or 7 months since I ordered mine) if I remember rightly the price at the bottom is what comes out of your wages.

Prices will be same but it'll be taken from you're pay post tax not pre tax,so works out quite a bit extra

If you joined the scheme prior to the 1st of April ,then you'll reap the tax relief for the duration of the contract.

I think the govt were stupid to remove this perk as it affects those who would benefit the most,the hard working low paid.
