The thing that gets me is Martin went from January 2024 to November 2024 without a single post on here. Nothing. I know sometimes things have turned personal on here but it would’ve been easy to setup a profile as CWU - I mean why wouldn’t the union want to have a presence on here? So when I see people saying ‘thanks Martin for posting on here, we appreciate it’……no, just no.

The union urgently need younger more vibrant leaders who talk passionately with energy. Ward+Walsh should offer their resignations.

Without even a threat of strike action,EP group can basically do as they please.

If we get some new faces in asap hopefully they can get some credibility back.

Without leverage you don't negotiate - you concede. I'm getting a sense of deja-vu in this deal which is being deliberately dragged out to wear people down to present a weak deal with a lump sum thrown in before xmas and then say "well, its the best we could get".

Right now, it feels like we are being managed rather than represented

Your membership has now been cancelled.

 

Please be aware that, depending on the date of cancellation and your employer’s cut-off date for payroll, this may not be in time for your next payday. You can contact your payroll team directly to ensure no further deductions are taken.

 

If you do change your mind about cancelling then provided you let us know within the next few weeks we can re-instate your membership without there being any break shown in your length of service.
